Every year we raise money for a chosen charity and this year we’re proud to be supporting MNDA – Motor Neurone Disease Association. A cause particularly close to our heart as a member of the team has family living with the disease.
To raise funds, on Saturday 11 October 2025, we’re taking part in a 10-mile circular walk taking in the surroundings of our head office in Rainford .
There’ll be lots of us involved (some fitter than others!) but all ready to lace up our boots and put our best foot forward to support the vital services of MNDA.
What is MND?
MND – motor neurone disease – is a condition affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
With MND, messages from these cells (that tell your muscles what to do) gradually stop getting through. This causes muscles to weaken, stiffen and waste, affecting how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.
MND is life-shortening and there is no cure. But thanks to the great work of MNDA, there is hope and support.
How to sponsor us
All funds raised will go directly to MNDA South Lancs branch, so by sponsoring us, you’ll be helping to support local services for sufferers of MND and their families.
You can donate by:
- Visiting our JustGiving page
- Contacting a member of the team
- Looking out for us on the day – we’ll be carrying donation buckets and QR codes and will post regular location updates on our socials, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
Every penny counts, so please dig deep! We’re hugely grateful for your support.
